mrxvt software package provides lightweight multi-tabbed X terminal emulator - complete version, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mrxvt
mrxvt is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mrxvt package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mrxvt *
You will get with mrxvt package name, version, architecture and description in a table
